We know you'll have questions before you send your kids on the most incredible experience of their lives, so we've listed the most common questions here. If there are any other questions you may have, please contact us.

+ HOW MUCH DOES EACH TRIP COST

The cost per student is $1,755. Trip tuition is all inclusive for instruction, food, accommodations, excursions, and activities from the time you arrive at the El Paso Airport. However, you are responsible for any air travel, spending money (we suggest $150), and unanticipated student expenses such as medical, special travel, and phone calls.

+ WHAT CAMERA GEAR DO YOU RECOMMEND

For a list of camera gear, please click here.

+ DO YOU ACCEPT INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

Yes! International students are always welcome, but please note all classes and lessons will be lead in English.

+ DO YOU PROVIDE CAMERA GEAR

No. Students will provide all of their own gear. On occasions, we will have sponsored gear which can be used throughout the trip for hands-on demonstrations, but this won't be a suppliment for bringing your own gear.

+ WHAT DO YOU DO IN AN EMERGENCY

We take every precaution, both in pre-planning and during the trip, but on occasion there are siuations which require us to take immediate action. Each student is asked to bring any allergy medicine, epi-pens, etc which they may require in an emergency situation, and know how to use them. The leaders are all trained in first-aid (our local guides usually are as well), and we carry a first aid kit and satellite phone 24/7 in case of an emergency.

+ SHOULD WE CARRY INSURANCE FOR OUR GEAR

Yes, absolutely. In addition to medical insurance, you should always have insurance to cover your expensive camera gear. This is especially important when going on trips such as ours, where we'll be on the water in canoes, climbing over unforgiving rocky landscapes, etc.

+ WHO WILL BE LEADING THE TRIPS

There will be 1 - 3 photography teachers on each trip, depending on the group size. Additionally, each trip will have a dedicated "right-hand man" to go ahead of us and prepare the camps, meals, haul gear, etc.

+ WHAT ARE THE SLEEPING ACCOMMODATIONS

Boys with boys, girls with girls. We'll have two seperate tents for the students, as well as a 3rd tent for the leaders. Each tent will have comfortable inflatable twin mattresses with bedding, pillows, and blankets if necessary. The student may either choose to keep their gear with them in the tents at night, or they may lock them up in our alarmed van or enclosed, locked trailer.

+ CAN I (AS THE PARENT OR GUARDIAN) ATTEND THE TRIP AS WELL?

As much as we'd love to have you join us, this is an outting for middle and high school students only. You're welcome to fly to El Paso with your kids, but we'll take over from there and hand them safely back to you once the trip is over.
